Understand that this blog is a Young Adult book blog. I do not review children or middle grade books and rarely accept adult novels unless they are paranormal/supernatural novels. But if your book is not YA, and it has to do with the supernatural, paranormal, or Urban Fantasy, email me and I will be glad to consider it. This does not guarantee I will accept it. I am willing to accept e-books as long as I agree to review said book title.

If you want me to read/review/promote your book(s), or you need to get in contact with me for any other reason, your best bet is to email me at the email listed below.

Review: Uninvited by Amanda Marrone

Title: Uninvited
Author: Amanda Marrone
Series: No
Book #: 1
Pages: 224
Reading Level: YA
Book Rating: Photobucket
Published: Oct 23rd, 2007
by Simon Pulse

Jordan's life sucks. Her boyfriend, Michael, dumped her, slep
t his way through half the student body, and then killed himself. But now, somehow, he appears at her window every night, begging her to let him in.

Jordan can't understand why he wants her, but she feels her resistance wearing down. After all, her life -- once a broken record of boring parties, meaningless hookups, and friends she couldn't relate to -- now consists of her drinking alone in her room as she waits for the sun to go down.

Michael needs to be invited in before he can enter. All Jordan has to do is say the words....

Taschima's review:

The story begins with this girl, Jordan, who is being haunted by her ex boyfriend, Michael. She is terrified and doesn't know what to do. On top of that she has family problems. Jordan drinks, smokes and haves wild without control sex, this is her little cry for help. Her mother ignores her, doesnt know her and her father doesnt care. Will Jordan get out of her problems alive? Or will she even want to?

This story is mostly about a cry of a girl for help. Jordan has a lot of problems, problems that we can see on any normal teenager. Well, except for the vampire stalking of course. For the story being called supernatural and having vampires in it, there was little vampire action, for which I was deeply disappointed. I got this book having in mind that it would have more vamp action, instead I got ex-boyfriend stalking and teenage problems.
