The Hunger Games MUSIC

Are you ready for some wicked awesome music inspired by The Hunger Games?

They call themselves District Tribute. I found their page on FB and I got to say, I really like how they portray certain parts of the book. Most of the music is instruments going at it (which does not appeal to me fully but as a backdrop for when your reading is delightful). I wish more of their songs were with people singing, but that does not mean that the music in itself is not beautiful and otherworldly.

Here is one of their songs that I really like, It's called The Hanging Tree, sound familiar?

"Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where they strung up a man
They say murdered three
Strange Things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree

Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where the dead man called out
For his love to flee
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree

Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Where I told you to run
So we'd both be free
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree

Are you, are you
Coming to the tree
Wear a necklace of rope
Side by side with me
Strange things did happen here
No stranger would it be
If we met up at midnight
In the hanging tree"

If you wish for more this is their Facebook Page and this is their Youtube Page. Anyways, how did you like it? Have you found other Hunger Games inspired music?
