"Does a crow become a salmon simply because it wished to? You do not know the first thing about mortality, prince-who-is-not. Why would you want to become like them?"
"Because," Grimalkin answered before I could say anything, "he is in love."
"Ahhh." The Witch looked at me ans shook her head. "I see. Poor creature. Then you will not hear a word I have to say"
I was in love. With a human.
I smiled bitterly at the thought. The old Ash, if faced with such a suggestion, woul've either laughed scornfully or removed the offender's head from his neck.
I finished The Iron Knight, and I will have a review up soon! Some things I will say here are that The Iron Knight fulfilled it's purpose. It tied up loose ends and let us explore Ash more in depth. After reading The Iron Knight now I am more convinced than ever that I love Ash and Julie Kagawa's writing!!
For an Iron Knight excerpt and more news on the next Iron Fey series plus Julie Kagawa's new Post Apocalyptic vampire series click here,
so tell me dear girl, does the end hint at more iron fey goodness?
ReplyDeletegreat teaser!
@Luna It doesn't really, not from Meghan's or Ash's POV anyways. But you never know, Julie always has the option to bring war to the Fey World!
ReplyDeleteAlso There will be a second Iron Fey Trilogy only this time the main character is going to be Ethan Chase, Meghan's younger brother. The series is set several years after the event of the first, with an older Ethan. What the series is going to be about, or how it's going to go down it's still a mystery.
