These are books I really should have read in 2011!
1. Divergent by Veronica Roth
Everybody keeps saying how ridiculously good it is, and I just about had it. I must get it NOW.
2. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
3. Juliet Immortal by Stacey Jay
4. The Pledge by Kimberly Deting
5. Supernaturally by Kiersten White
6. Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst
7. Beautiful Days by Anna Godbersen
8. Lost Voices by Sarah Porter
9. Dearly Departed by Lia Habel
10. The Demon Lover by Juliet Dark, Carol Goodman
So there they are, some of the books I wished I'd read on 2011. Which are yours?

Ooh, cool list! I'm not familiar with any of these books, but next time I'm looking for something to read I'll definitely refer to your recommendations.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad. I'm currently reading Divergent other than that I've only read Suprnaturally from your list.
ReplyDeleteI'm dying to get my hands on Drink, Slay, Love. It sounds hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI loved Divergent, it was really amazing. One of the best books this year. I haven't read the rest, though... One day. :D
ReplyDeleteDivergent WAS amazing! You NEED to read it! Possibly my favorite dystopian novel ever, aside from the Hunger Games.
ReplyDelete:)
Definitely read Juliet Immortal, Dearly, Departed, and Mara Dyer! They're so good!
ReplyDeleteI've been dying to read Divergent, but still haven't gotten around to it, either. I also want to read Lost Voices and Beautiful Days. (:
I agree with a lot of these...specially Divergent and The Unbecoming of M...
ReplyDeletecannot believe I couldn't get to read them :'(
hope you read Supernaturally, Lost Voices, and all the others soon ;)
I'm currently reading The Pledge and enjoying it
I LOVE Divergent!! :)
ReplyDeleteand The Pledge is AWESOME!! It's another fantastic dystopian read in 2011!
Hope you get to read them all! Happy reading. :)
WHY HAVE I NOT read Mara Dyer yet :(
ReplyDeleteBlood Red Road was my favorite book this year. It's really great!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for the chance.
Wow, great list! I didn't get around to any of these either. =( We must get to them this year!
ReplyDeleteYes! You must read Divergent. It was so good. I wasn't impressed with The Demon Lover which was sad because I loved the cover. You can see my review here if interested. It had so much potential but didn't quite live up to it. I need to read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and The Pledge too.
ReplyDeleteYESSSS, Divergent and Mara Dyer were fantastic reads, and I kept laughing out loud at Drink, Slay, Love. Other books on my Top 10 of the year were the Iron Fey books and Anna Dressed in Blood. Also enjoyed Witch Eyes by Scott Tracey, too.
ReplyDeleteHope 2012 brings you health, happiness, and a bunch of excellent reads!
Smiles!
Lori
I can't believe I haven't sat down to read either Dearly Departed or The Pledge yet. They're both on my shelf. I really need to do that soon!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these but Lost Voices - VERY mixed opinions of this one!!
ReplyDeleteWe both really need to read Divergent ;)
I love the concept of this post! How many of us are in the same boat? TONS. (Disclaimer: I have been putting off Mockingjay forever...)
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I just wanted to say you MUST read DIVERGENT and DRINK, SLAY, LOVE because they are quite excellent in their own respective manner! I was pleasantly surprised to see how much I loved DRINK, SLAY, LOVE - it was so different from her other stuff!
We're together because I have only read one of these books. And it's Divergent, which, by the way, was indescribably incredible!
ReplyDeleteDearly Departed is omg omg! So good. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so all over the place, but has everything a supernatural fan could ask for. Zombies, victorian times, war, etc.
I wish I had read Divergent in 2011! But it is definitely on my list for this year!
I should have had some books in 2011, too! Ha-ha! I wanted Divergent, too, but sadly I didn't get it. :(
ReplyDeleteThis must definitely go to Divergent:D
