I like this series for a few reasons:
(1) The change in perspective. I like being in the heads of all the main characters as they call the story. It makes me feel connected to them.
(2) The Setting. I like the way that the youth of the characters, the woods and the winter mesh against the town and the parents and the descriptions of everything else. It makes it more real to me.
(3) The Story. I like this unique twist on the Werewolf mythos, and I think it's a great way of telling it.

I think my favorite part of this series is that they both seem to be equal. He isn't saving her all of the time and she isn't saving him all the time. The love, strength, brains, and respect go both ways. I also love different takes on werewolves. :)

Why do I like this series? Hmm okay. I love the unique take on werewolves, the more scientific rather than supernatural explanation is fantastic and really really interesting.I love the way its written, it's almost poetry. I love Sam and Grace's relationship, it's so realistic and I love their narration it always pulls me into the story. I also love Cole and Isabelle a lot. But the main thing I love is how heartbreaking it is. This series leaves you feeling like someone's pulled your heart out, given it a good squeeze and shoved it back in.

I love this series because Maggie Stiefvater's writing is like flowing poetry - so beautifully haunting. I also love how organic the relationship between Grace and Sam seems. It's not forced or contrived like a lot of YA series. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE COLE, and really really want to read this ARC so I can find out more about him.

Ah! Ah! I want it! I WANT IT SO BADLY! Ugh. I love this series for many reason, but the best reason is because my sister actually finished a book! She came into my room CRYING and holding the book begging to know if there was another one. That was HUGE! I want this book. I want to read it, I want to let her read it. I think she's read only a couple books since Shiver and it's been two years since she read that.

The characters and romance are at the heart of this series. I admire Grace's mature attitude and ability to keep herself composed during chaos, as well as her determination to care for others and not abandon them. To me, Sam is the star of the series. He is a beautifully written character. So honest, willing, fragile, loveable. The connection he and Grace have is intense, even before she knows his human form. Great connection, great characters. Stiefvater’s writing is beautiful, rich and engaging. Highly emotional books so worthy of a read. :)

I loved Shiver and Linger because it features such an independent young woman who has struggled to have a real relationship with her parents and having that relationship with someone who has truly been there since she was a kid. Her match with Sam is swoon-worthy. ;)

Why I love this series...? Why not! I mean, Maggie have a beatufil way to tell the story. The characters are beautiful in their own way, Grace is independent, Sam is lovely, Isabel is stronger and Cole, his story is really sad but in Linger he change and is so right.

I love this series because its quite unlike anything I've read in this genre {wolves, but not really werewolves... and changing forever into a wolf? Wow!}. I read the first one on a whim, had to pick up the second, and have been anxiously awaiting the third! I can't wait to find out what happens to Grace and Sam =).

Shiver was the first book I read that was about werewolves so it's really stuck with me. I have read quite a few since but they aren't as unique. Plus the characters in these books are so lovable. This series has been one of my favorites since the beginning and I am anxiously awaiting Forever. Thanks for the chance to win it.

I picked up this series because I am working on a current novel about werewolves. I had finished my first draft and I was needing to take a break, but still wanting to be engrossed with the creatures. Shiver seemed like the perfect solution. I loved the original take on the temperatures affection their change. I hope to win so I can finally read the second in the series!

I have to say it's Maggie's writing style. It's a very distinct YA voice and it's hauntingly beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet, a little like lyrics or poetry. It's also a fantastic lvoe story that's very deeply touching. I've creid more than once while reading this series!

Why I like/love this series?
I really like reading about wolves. I love Mercy Thompson (Patricia Briggs). I love Elena (Women of the Otherworld/Kelley Armstrong). I just recently read Nighshade (Andrea Cremer). And of course I've read Linger/Shiver. I like them all.
I really cannot wait to read Forever. Reading about all the people at BEA who got the arcs. I was so jealous. I read a lot (mostly from the library) and I've never gotten an arc before.
I've been following Maggie Stiefvater on twitter on facebook and I love her daily quips. She's written a very interesting series. And I really want to know how it ends.
I've enjoyed the first two books and would really really really love to be able to win the third one.

I just adore this series so much. I originally started reading it because my friend recommended it to me, and i had so much going on in my life at the time that i though there was no way a book was gonna help me. But i decided why not? and just fell in love. I love the intensity of the emotions and it never fails to make me cry. I would give anything for an ARC of Forever. And of course there's Sam, which makes the whole series even more worth it ;)

I've only read the first book, I own the second, but refuse to read it until I have Forever in my hands. I hate waiting for the next book in a series and I knew I could wait it out for this series.
I loved the first book for several reasons. The main thing would be the multiple POVs, next would be the realistically of the teen romance and of course because I'm a paranormal lover. :)

Honestly, I love this book for its prose. Whenever I sink into a YA novel, I have certain expectations. I expect the book to be cutesy, funny at times, and romantic, but I know that it might be lacking in the literary merit department. Maggie manages to capture all the elements of a book that I love in the Shiver series. The characters are well fleshed out, the story (although unrealistic) is believable, the plot is interesting and filled with just the right amount of twists, and she manages to place smoking guns along various places in the story and later resolve them in a mindblowing manner.
Sorry I rambled a bit, can you tell I'm a fan of the trilogy? :)

I love this series because of the romance between Sam and Grace! They had this special connection from the beginning, and it held even as he was a wolf. I also really like how the character who was telling the story changed. I enjoyed knowing what the other characters were thinking, hearing their story of how they came to be, and listening to their different points of view! I just randomly picked it up and started reading it without knowing knowing anything about the series. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised and left wanting more! Can't wait to see how it ends!

I love this series because the story is very different than the normal werewolf types-the way the werewolves can change with the seasons. I love the romance-it's real, not a facade. Hmmm....hard question. First I love this books because is one of the few books about werewolfs published in my country, and I love werewolfs. I think Maggie's way of write. It's just amazing!!

So, why do I love this series? I think it's because for me it was refreshing. I mean, I was so tired of reading about vampires everywhere (and do not get me wrong, I love vampires)that to get a book about wolves was awesome.

Because the covers, the characters, the writing, it's all so... poetic and sweet and romantic, without being too much! While reading the first 2 books in the series I always felt so very calm, even while being excited about the reading. It's weird, but it's true, it's soothing to me. Maggie is a fantastic writer and I'm in love with her characters, especially the broken ones. ;)

I originally bought Shiver because the cover caught me eye and the print inside was the same colour as the cover. Then I started reading and instantly fell in love with Grace she's so down to earth, then i fell in love with the unique version of a werewolf they completely lose themselves to the wolf but Sam somehow manages to hold onto Grace it's hopelessly romantic. I love this series because I really like how Maggie Stiefvater and how she focus on characters. It is amazing that I can empathize with characters! Emotion in books are so strong that I just have to love it! And I can wait to read this book!

Thank you for the giveaway. I'd have to say that I like the series first because it's a unique perspective on werewolves. Second reason is because I really enjoy Maggie's style of writing. It flows so beautifully that it's hard to put one of her books down.

I would love to have this book because I have been having love troubles lately and I've been re-reading Shiver and Linger to reassure myself that love can outlast all and overcome any obstacle. I really want to know what happens next because its not just a review, its something that I'm basing my faith in love on. I'm not saying I HAVE to have this book, because I can wait until it comes out, but I would love to read it as soon as possible.

I LOVE this series because it is so different from the other novels about werewolves. It isn't really focused on a pack, but on certain characters only. The surprises the comes with this book keeps me turning the pages. Sam and Grace's switch in roles (being the wolf) was so unexpected that I can't wait to read the finale and see how it all turns out.

I would LOVE to win so I could read this book. I love how this is not just about a pack like most werewolve stories. It mainly focuses on Sam and Grace and their struggles to be together. I like how the auther throws in surprises that keeps me turning the pages. The switch between Sam and Grace (being a wolf) was so unexpected! I can't wait to find out what happens in the end.

I've loved this series since the first moment I laid my eyes on the cover. Be it the UK version or the US to me they are stunning.

It's hard to say why I love this serie. I love Sam so much, this is a guy who loves all the girls for his character. He is lovelly, cute and nice to Grace. Next reason for what I like The Wolves of Mercy Falls is, that wolves in this book are different than other. They are wolves, because thay have to be. Yeah, Sam is person, but he is still afraid, that when cold come, he turn to wolf again. I love world, which Maggie made and I hope, that third part of this trilogy will be perfect :)

I love this series because Sam is my favoritest werewolf ever (I should say was, but think I'll always picture him as the wolf looking out from the woods) and I need to read what happens to everbody and if they have a happy ending!!!

Why ?
Hmmmmmm, I think I like the different wolfy feeling it gives , not like twilight wolf or any other, just shiver kind.
I also absolutely lovelovelove the covers!
& have you seen the hardcover of 'linger'? It has the most gorgeous olive green ink on the pages.
Also it's kinda comfy to read it, as in I don't have to worry so much whether I opened the book to wide to create a line on the book spine.
& also it features the poem thing, I'm not very into it, but it certainly added some kind of identity into it.

I love this series because it offers up a different view of werewolves. Sam doesn't even want to be one, no matter what. Not to mention, the whole time-is-running-out-on-staying-human thing is different and suspenseful, and the writing is beautiful.
