Ive been re reading One Foot in the Grave lately. Why? I love this book. Simple as that. The story is great, the characters are amazing, and the plot is just out of this world. But I have a ton of other books I must read, why am I re reading this book when I could just dive into a new interesting story?I have my reasons, some of them being that this book is familiar. I know what it will happen, when it's going to happen, and why. I also can see it as if it was a movie on my mind. In a day I could red more than 200 pages if committed.
I also re read this book because of its awesomeness of course. Everybody should read this series, it's just that good. Its my absolute favorite vampire adult book. So please do me a favor, and read it.
Also, I just realized that my blog aversary is today, or was today. Wow, 2 years already? Where did those go? Do I have anything to show for it?
Well, yes. I have you guys! You guys make me happy, knowing that somebody listens (or rather reads) makes me happy. Knowing I'm helping people find books they will enjoy makes me happy. Knowing that there is someone out there with a somewhat similar taste in books makes me happy. So let's celebrate by extending my giveaway for two more weeks.

I have the first book but don't ask me why I haven't read it yet I think because I want to get the whole series first. Should I just go ahead then order and wait?

I love Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series it's my favorite books. I cannot wait until TSOTG comes 2/22.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogiversary! :D I love rewatching movies, and I would skip / fast forward those parts that I don't like / find them boring, LOL. As for books, I only reread Harry Potter series so far, and uh, never really skipped any parts.

ReplyDeleteAlso i am really sad that you extended the giveaway for two whole weeks. Do you know how anxious i've been to find out who would be the winner? I woke early in the morning today before going to school just to see who won, but then again i am also happy because now there is a greater chance of winning with an extra winner.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure when to say my blogaversary is. I just moved my blog over here from Wordpress so I'm inclined to start on that date. I have a long way to go to reach a year!
I've been thinking about re-reading this series too, or at least skimming through for major plot points. I read all four books in a row, so I can't keep straight which plot goes with which book!

ReplyDeleteI have seen the books before but haven't read them yet. I'll pick the first one up at the bookstore then put it down bc I see another one that I want to read too? Are they seriously that good? I have heard good thongs about them but ... I never really gave into it.

Happy Blogoversary! Two years, wow! I've only been at it a little over six months.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes read a familiar book over and over again because it's kind of like comfort food. No surprises, HEA sometimes, but I know what's going to happen. With a new book, I don't always know. And sometimes, I need the security of knowing. So I read the same book over and over. We probably all do for our own reasons.
