Well, no surprise that Across the Universe won since it's one of the best covers of 2011!!! There were 147 votes in all (thanks guys) and this is the break down:
Across The Universe by Beth Revis - 59 (40%)
Awakened by P.C. Cast, Kristin Cast - 30 (20%)
Entangled by Cat Clarke - 23 (15%)
My Soul to Steal by Rachel Vincent - 13 (8%)

Anyways! It was great doing this last month, and so lets go at it again! These are the covers I chose for Feb, you choose the best one!!

ReplyDeleteI have so much love for the Across the Universe cover, but I honestly think that I love the Darkest Mercy cover more...mostly because of focal point created by the flower.
ReplyDeleteFor Feb., I choose the Iron Witch. Darkest Mercy is a close second. For March, I'd like to nominate Wither...Gorgeousness abounds!
ReplyDeletethe Across the Universe cover is pretty, but I liked Awakened more.I just have this thing about angel wings...sigh. As for the Feb covers... its Darkest Mercy!!!!!!!!!!!!! The flower is just so eye catching, but Iron Witch is a definite second.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Iron Witch cover, but I am also partial to This Side of the Grave just because it is a part of the Night Huntress series I absolutely love :)

The Iron Witch is the best in my opinion. I also really love Darkest Mercy. All of the books in Melissa Marr's series are just lovely.

Rival wins for me, hands down. And I agree with the nomination for Wither, which has a lovely, lovely cover.
ReplyDeleteThe competition right now is between The Iron Witch and The Darkest Mercy, but if I'm completely honest I voted for This Side of the Grave cause it's my favorite series and I knew not a lot of people would vote for it xD

ReplyDeleteI have to confess that the first time or few times I saw this I only saw the orange parts and thought it was an alien. I never saw the girl or boy. If you'd seen it that way as many times as I had, you'd never be able to vote for it. I thought Entangled was so striking. I still see the orange blob when I look at the cover of Across the Universe.

Yay for Across the Universe! I love the cover, it is just pure eye candy gorgeousness. Haunted and Darkest Mercy are quite pretty too, I love all the lovely use of purple.
ReplyDeleteYES, that's the one I voted for! Yay. As for the new cover....it's hard to say. I love The Iron Witch, but there's something so rich about Darkest Mercy. I think I'll go with the former. : )
