It's Monday... Nightshade Chapter 1/ Shift's Awful Cover

... and I haven't been able to read anything. Instead Ive been watching Supernatural Season 5, which was pretty awesome!!! It was, wow. I haven't written a review yet for Series -R- Us because I want to start with the 1st season and go from there, get the chronology straight.

Anyways! Nightshade. I read the first chapter and it starts out pretty great. There's a battle with a bear O.o Blood and enchantment is in the air. It starts out pretty quickly, you are thrown into the world and you have to find your own way to figure it out. Different, refreshing. If you like stuff like that anyways, which I do.

Also, what the hell happened to this cover?

I leave for 5 days and this is what I get? I'm a firm believer that the covers are getting better and better as the years go by, but sometimes mistakes do happen. I like the whole design the "Shift" is on, but other than that? Not a favorite, at all.
