**New House of Night Cover Out and About!**

UGH! Why can't I help but love the House of Night covers? The story makes me gag most of the time (though the last book was a bit better and left you with your mouth open by the end, in fact, a tear may have escaped my eye) but the covers always make me swoon. I believe that is Aphrodite is in the front, am I correct? I think I am.

** Edit: Damn, I forgot about Stevie Rae and her red marks... Ugh Fine it's Stevie Rae lol

Summary:

"Things have turned black at the House of Night. Zoey Redbird’s soul has shattered. With everything she’s ever stood for falling apart, and a broken heart making her want to stay in the Otherworld forever, Zoey’s fading fast. It’s seeming more and more doubtful that she will be able pull herself back together in time to rejoin her friends and set the world to rights. As the only living person who can reach her, Stark must find a way to get to her. But how? He will have to die to do so, the Vampire High Council stipulates. And then Zoey will give up for sure. There are only 7 days left…
Enter BFF Stevie Rae. She wants to help Z but she has massive problems of her own. The rogue Red Fledglings are acting up, and this time not even Stevie Rae can protect them from the consequences. Her kinda boyfriend, Dallas, is sweet but too nosy for his own good. The truth is, Stevie Rae’s hiding a secret that might be the key to getting Zoey home but also threatens to explode her whole world.
In the middle of the whole mess is Aphrodite: ex-Fledgling, trust-fund baby, total hag from Hell (and proud of it). She’s always been blessed (if you could call it that) with visions that can reveal the future, but now it seems Nyx has decided to speak through her with the goddess’s own voice, whether she wants it or not. Aphrodite’s loyalty can swing a lot of different ways, but right now Zoey’s fate hangs in the balance.
Three girls… playing with fire… if they don’t watch out, everyone will get Burned."

Okay, the last line is a tad cheesy but it does sound interesting and I want to know what happens to the 3 girls. Specially Aphrodite which has, since book 2, held a special place with me. Ugh I still remember how sad the last book ended, I can't believe the authors did what they did! But I guess it had to be done.

* I guess this is also my Waiting on Wednesday book Lol

  1. I know what you mean. A luke warm story but sizzling cover! :D

  2. I've only read the first 5 books in the series, but I'd have to agree with you mostly. To me, the storyline (and the characters) usually make me face-palm. But I have to admit...this synopsis sounds interesting. And I have such a huge problem with quitting series before they're over. I might have to give it another try!

  3. I would say that is Stevie Rae on the cover, the first Red Vampyre. I can't wait for the book to come out either!

  4. Does Aphrodite have red marks on her face? I was thinking it was Stevie Rae but I could be wrong. I haven't read Tempted yet. I don't know why, I just needed a break from Zoey's many boyfriends I guess. This cover looks good though, thanks for sharing.

  5. Besides the ending, the last book really didn't do it for me. But I'm still going to buy this one because the series is strangely addicting and I basically have no choice =P I thought that the cover we Stevie Ray, but I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time =D

  8. I've only read the first two books, but I do own the others. I am planning on finishing the series too. I'm not sure what to expect since I've read some pretty awful reviews and some really good ones. Hmmmm....

Anyways, they all have pretty awesome covers. The face art is such a cool concept.

  10. I'll agree with you there, I could only tolerate reading the first book but the covers are always so pretty :). This cover though I don't like all that much in comparison to the others :(.
