Teaser Tuesday...

This week I'm posting about Once Was Lost, a novel by Sara Zarr which comes out this Thursday October 1st. I started reading it and it's getting mt attention alright so that gives it mayor points in my little black book. So here is the teaser:

" The whole world is wilting. Shriveling. Giving up. Dying. Maybe not the whole world. Somewhere, I guess, it's not ninety-one degrees at four in the morning. I would like to be in that place. I would like to be somewhere, anywhere, that life feels possible and not smothered under a layer of heat and hopelessness."

And that is only a lil bit of the first page of the novel. I find the concept of the novel interesting, and it catches your attention quite easily. If you want to know more about the novel go to the authors main page.
