The Indigo Spell, Bloodlines #3, (by Richelle Mead) has a summary!

So one of the most awaited books of next year finally has a summary!! Hopefully it will include some sort of clue into the Sydney/Adrian situation... here goes nothing:

Sydney Sage is an Alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of humans and vampires. They protect vampire secrets--and human lives.

After an event that changed Sydney and Adrian’s lives forever, Sydney struggles to draw the line between her Alchemist teachings and what her heart is urging her to do. Then she meets alluring Marcus Finch, a former Alchemist who pushes her to rebel against the people who raised her. But as he pushes her to rebel against the people who raised her, Sydney finds that breaking free is harder than she thought. And as she searches for an evil magic user targeting powerful young witches, she finally begins to embrace the mysterious magic she knows she holds within ...  she realizes that her only hope is to embrace her magical blood--or else she might be next.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, the Bloodlines series explores all the friendship, romance, battles, and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive—this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and everyone’s out for blood.
(This was kind of a mix of this summary with the summary in Goodreads, I tried to get as much info out of them both as I could)

HA! The guy in the cover must be Marcus Finch! He's gonna help her go all rebellious, and closer and closer to Adrian. This book is out next February. Waiting for it it's torture.

And hopefully there will be some Dimitri here somewhere... just saying.

  1. that is an awesome summary! it seems the bloodlines series is going towards the combination of magical properties. i just hope there's no werewolves that come out in future books. or fairies. I personally don't want anything similar to the Sookie Stackhouse books coz I don't even enjoy them for some reason.

  2. SO behind on this series! I loved the VA series but the 1st one of this was getting mixed opinions and I got a bit wary of it.

  4. Sydney and Adrian, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. One can hope. I am excited to see Sydney let go of some of the Alchemist ways and continue growing as a person. I love the girl to death. She is a fantastic character. Richelle is such a powerhouse when it comes to characterization. She is just fabulous, period. So excited for this book, and the rest of the series too! Thanks for posting the summary for us. What a beautiful day!

  6. I was SO EXCITED to read an ARC because The Golden Lily was one of my favourite books of 2012, so naturally I couldn't wait to get my hands on TIS. It was as phenomenal as I was expecting and my expectations for the SYDRIAN stuff were very high based on Richelle and Penguin's tweets. I'm so happy to say that the book was HOTTER than I would have thought.
