While watching a T.V. Show called Dawson's Creek (don't hate, I love this show) I came across this great quote. It's from an episode named "Detention" where Dawson, Joey, Pacey, Jen and Abby all end up in Saturday detention. The detention is being held by the school librarian, and this is what she has to say:
"Librarian: You are all required to stay here till 5 o'clock. You should ask yourself, "What have I done to get detention in the first place? And what can I do to improve my behavior?" As you know I'm the school librarian. I have some important work to do in the audio-visual room. If for any reason I have to come out here and discipline you, you will spent the rest of the day shelving books and sorting library cards. So, are you down with the program? You're going to be spending the rest of the day together, so get used to it. After eight hours you're gonna be like family.
Abby Morgan: Eight hours? We're gonna murder each other.
Librarian: Well, just don't get any blood on the books. And I mean that."
I just thought it was kind of cool and awesome her comment on the books. Don't mess with the librarians!
The crazy part is I actually remember that very episode -- The Breakfast Club sort of tribute. Great show, an even better quote!

ReplyDeleteYeah I like that quote! I used to watch this show when it was first on TV but I only watched for a couple of seasons and I don't really remember it very well.
