AHH! What to do?!?! BEA PANIC!

BEA is in 10 DAYS! You hear me? 10 DAYS!?

I don't know whats to do. Every post Ive read till now it's like, "oh I know what I'm gonna do in/for BEA!", but I am a BEA virgin. I am so completely lost. I will go to NY, and be like, okay, what now?

I was thinking of going to TAC -Teen Author Carnival- which is on May 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Jefferson Market Branch Library. They have a website if you wanna check it out. Sounds like fun, and I hope I don't miss it.

And, how do you meet new bloggers?! How do you know they are bloggers? I mean, do I have to take a sign with me that says "Hey, I don't know if you know me, but, I am Taschima Cullen from Bloody Bookaholic! I just thought to let you know." Kind of weird, and just MIGHT scare the kids away...

Well, something good that has happened that is related to BEA. I got my business cards yesterday and they are to die for. Just so pweetty!! So if I do get to meet you at BEA (whoever you are) you will get one =]

So, yeah, I am lost. When I get to The Javitz Center, well, it's not going to be pwetty. I will try my best to not get completely lost in the sea of people, but guys, if I never post again, you know were I'm still at O.o.

So, are any of you going to BEA? Want to exchange phone numbers? I know it's useless to call someone at BEA, but what about texting?

Well, BEA here I come... I will keep you guys posted every single day! May do my first Vlog that week =]

  1. LOL on your post. I feel the same way. I am a BEA virgin and after reading many many many posts on the BEA experience.I think I will need to make a scheduale of whom I want to see (authors, bloggers) and make sure I wear a Hello sticker on my shirt. How much were your business cards. I had finals this month and never got to make myself some.

I think Kristi at Story Siren has a form where you can fill out to see whose going.

Would love to meet you there :)

  2. I'm a BEA virgin too :) I'm basically just going to try to relax and enjoy. It's going to be crazy - but in a good way I think.
Texting would be the best - get phone numbers before you go. I can send you mine if you like - would love to meet up with you if we can!

  9. Seriously, I'm in the same boat. I keep reading blog posts about what to do/not do, what to wear and all the event schedules and feeling a little overwhelmed! But, I think I'm just going to make a comprehensive list of everything that I definitely want to see and wing it from there.

Remember, we're going for the experience and to have fun! No stress! :)

    Hope to see you there!

  11. hey!!!

I'll be @ BEA & TAC again this year! Texting is definitely easier than calling and although it's pretty crazy and hectic, BEA is tons of fun! I met so many ppl last year and snagged quite a few good books!!

Can't wait to meet you in person!

  13. Aw, hell. I'm a BEA virgin who thought she had everything under control. That is, until I read 10 day and my stomach did that flopping thing. Deep breath.

I'm going to have my phone for texting. Send me an email with your number, I'll send you mine and we can meet up and try not to get lost together.

  14. I am going for the first time, too. And nervous as heck! Like you said, everything is overwhelming, and I don't know a thing about NYC! But there's nothing like jumping in the pool straight on, right?
