This is kind of a ZOMBIE WEEK! So, where is my Zombie Girrrl!?
I like the cover of 'I kissed a Zombie and I liked it' its funny in its own gross/sweet form. But I reeaally liked the cover of 'Never Slow Dance with a Zombie' the pastry colors are adorable, why do they make zombie covers so cute? I don't get it, make it gross, blood, death, worms, braaaiiinnsss.
I have a confession to make, sometimes I consider reading about the bitchy side of society fun. I watch Gossip Girl and all. I read the first GG book, but first watch the series so didn't get much into it. Anyways The Secret Society is mostly about that, and besides the cover, that's what attracted me to this book.
Now my FAV of this week, Darklight by Lesley Livingston! I just love the story! This book is the second one to Wondrous Strange, a book with should be so up your pile I am surprise at whoever has not read it. It has a captivating story, very creative, and believable/awesome characters. Ive been waiting for this one for a long time, but I guess I can wait a little more. LOVE the cover!
I'm DYING to read Wondrous Strange! Thanks for sharing your finds. My favorite cover, though, is Never Slow Dance With A Zombie.

ReplyDeleteI Kissed a Zombie, Never Slow Dance with a Zombie, and Wondrous Strange sound really good. I'm not big witchy books though, they totally frustrate me. I just wanna climb in the pages and claw their eyes out or spill a drink on them or something equally hideous.

I actually am a huge Gossip Girl fanatic, like though they act badly I can't look away XD besides it's not lik,e I'm mirroring their behavior so i think it's fine. XP I'd proly love secret society!
