First and foremost! Do you guys like the new and improved layout? I love it! It was created by Laina from Laina Has Too Much Spare Time, among other blogs.
I love the color, and both together? ah! So pretty ^^
Other than talk about my super layout, well, my current, and only contest, ends today. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY, whoever wants to sign up do it before 12 a.m. because after that time no one will be able to even look at the post.
I will put dragons and 3 headed dogs to watch it and keep it safe for me. Tomorrow Ill announce
the winner, and frankly I don't know who is winning, most people have the same score so I think this one is going to be random!
Now I will stare out the window to see if I can catch a shooting star and make my wish...
*looking*.... *still looking*... *thinking that maybe the stars took a short break*... *YATA! There she goes!*
Meridian by Amber Kizer
Half-human, half-angel, Meridian Sozu has a dark responsibility.
Sixteen-year-old Meridian has been surrounded by death ever since she can remember. As a child, insects, mice, and salamanders would burrow into her bedclothes and die. At her elementary school, she was blamed for a classmate’s tragic accident. And on her sixteenth birthday, a car crashes in front of her family home—and Meridian’s body explodes in pain.
Before she can fully recover, Meridian is told that she’s a danger to her family and hustled off to her great-aunt’s house in Revelation, Colorado. It’s there that she learns that she is a Fenestra—the half-angel, half-human link between the living and the dead. But Meridian and her sworn protector and love, Tens, face great danger from the Aternocti, a band of dark forces who capture vulnerable souls on the brink of death and cause chaos.

So what do you think? Pretty cool uh? I know another book about half-angels, but I think that theme is very interesting! Like Blue Bloods for example, their version of vampires is angels fallen from grace, and I think that version is pretty convincing. It's better than demons dragged away from hell at any rate.
The cover looks very mysterious, yet alluring. The girl she knows about the things that hide in the dark, and that you should be careful about them.
Bonus, there might be a certain interview in the works with the author, and maybe even a contest...
In another news Ghostgirl:Homecoming is out! So for those people who read the first book go run and but the second one! I don't know about you but when Im reading a series its very rare that I stop reading it, for any reason.
PS; There is a current giveaway for a copy of My Name Is Will at A Journey of Books
Anyways hear what you think, I want.
Leave a comment, you shall.

Ooh! Pretty! Very fancy! I wish I could get a custom layout to match my header. *pouts* Hey, how'd you change your layout without losing your widgets or having to reset your hit counter? O_o?
ReplyDeleteThat book sounds really good! I love the cover, she has such cool bangs. I'd never be able to pull off bangs like that, my hairs too wavy. I'd get crazy top. XP
