Thanks to modern science, every human being has become a ticking genetic time bomb—males only live to age twenty-five, and females only live to age twenty. In this bleak landscape, young girls are kidnapped and forced into polygamous marriages to keep the population from dying out.
When sixteen-year-old Rhine Ellery is taken by the Gatherers to become a bride, she enters a world of wealth and privilege. Despite her husband Linden's genuine love for her, and a tenuous trust among her sister wives, Rhine has one purpose: to escape—to find her twin brother and go home.
But Rhine has more to contend with than losing her freedom. Linden's eccentric father is bent on finding an antidote to the genetic virus that is getting closer to taking his son, even if it means collecting corpses in order to test his experiments. With the help of Gabriel, a servant she trusts, Rhine attempts to break free, in the limted time she has left.

It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.
Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the futureÑand each other.
Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

Betrayal, loss, pain, fear. How many trials can love endure and still survive?
All the covers are breath taking, some are sequels and some are starts. On Wolfsbane thats the only "summary" that I could find. I haven't finished Nightshade yet, but I'm going to. Which ones are you looking forward to the most? My list would have to go somehow like this:
1. Wither
2. Wishful Thinking
3. Wolfsbane
4. Where She Went
5. Where I Belong

Wishful Thinking and Wither both sound good! And the covers are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThese all look great. I never would have guessed that Wish would get a sequel. I can't wait to read Wither either.
ReplyDelete(shakes head) So many books. So little time.
ReplyDeleteI was lucky to read an ARC of Wither which was fantastic so you rightfully have that at the top :). Where I Belong is also on my TBR list and Where She Went sounds good but I'll have to check out If I Stay first.
