The ultimate battle between sisters is nearing, and its outcome could have catastrophic consequences. As sixteen year-old Lia Milthorpe searches for a way to end the prophecy, her twin sister Alice hones the skills she'll need to defeat Lia. Alice will stop at nothing to reclaim her sister's role in the prophecy, and that's not the only thing she wants: There's also Lia's boyfriend James.
Lia and Alice always knew the Prophecy would turn those closest to them against them. But they didn't know what betrayal could lead them to do. In the end, only one sister will be left standing.
The girl is pretty. Though I wouldn't link the two books as being in the same series. The two covers don't look alike. But this one is still pretty. I like her pose and the emotion on her face. Pretty cool.
Can't wait for this one!
I would have never put the two books together with that cover. She's pretty, but where's my gothic look?
ReplyDeleteThey re-did the first cover too.
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to find it, but I swear I'm not crazy. I think they're using it for the re-release in paperback.
I wouldn't have guessed either but the cover is really pretty. I cannot wait to read it. I really loved the first book :)
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty but I think I liked the original covers more. I think they appealed more to both boys and girls plus these ones don't give me that creepy and eery vibe that the first one did.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. The covers are not consistent but the model is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI believe it's supposed to match the paperback version of Prophecy of The Sisters. See?: http://bit.ly/aXkp9a
ReplyDeleteoo I can't wait for tis :)
ReplyDeleteI don't like it..It should show the 2 sisters don't you think. Now the cover of book 1 I love! I just bought the book and plan to read it soon. I am glad book 2 is coming out soon so i won't have to wait as long for it! LOL
ReplyDeleteso many good books coming out this summer!!
Shouldn't the cover be showing two sisters and not focusing on only one alone?
ReplyDeletewow if I didn't know this was Prophcy Of Sisters #2 I would have never picked it up. The cover is interesting but your right I would've never linked the two!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the girl is pretty. I can't wait for the Guardian and the Gate! :P
ReplyDeleteOh I hate it so badly! no no never will like it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting about Guardian!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you all know that KayLyn is right; the Guardian of the Gate cover matches the paperback version of Prophecy depicted in KatLyn's link (that one shows both sisters). All the covers will work within that concept from here on out.

I agree that the girl is pretty but I don't think the font is very well presented, it's kind of hard to read and looks more like I want to wipe it away :P
ReplyDeletecan't wait to read it!
ReplyDeletei like the cover, but i prefer the old artwork (the sculptures were just amazing!)
I like the cover...I just need to hurry up and read the first book! :D
