So I started reading Everbound (Everneath #2) by Brodi Ashton

"He's dying anyways. I have to go to the Everneath.  A memory instantly popped into my mind, and my face must've shown it, because Cole pressed. "It won't make a difference if it'a an unpleasant memory. "Jack as the antihero? Dude, I'll bring the popcorn."

"He is watching  me expectantly.                                                                                                                                                                 "I'm coming for you. Do you know this?" I say.                                                                                                                                             Jack doesn't answer. He is watching my face, searching.                                                                                                                            "What is it, Jack?" I say. "Are you in pain?"                                                                                                                                               His anguish is plain on his face. "I ... I can't remember your name. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."                                                                                                                                                                                    He closes his eyes and shakes his head.

And that is just SOME of the awesome quotes from this book. Everbound is turning out to be  everything I was hoping for, and so much more. Every time I start reading it time flies by and suddenly I am on page 200!  So I am trying to pace myself.

Cole... He is getting a lot of face time in this book. And he is really trying. Though I am still firmly a Jack fan. We don't get to interact with present Jack much, only trhough dreams, but we get to see old memories involving Jack and how he and Nik were before they fell in love. We get to see how and why they fell in love, and it's beautiful. Jack is such a sweet guy, and Nik is such a broken girl. With a spine made out of steel!

Anyways, gotta go, the book is calling my name!!
