Bloody Bookaholic's Commandment:
Thou Shall Read Till Thy Eyes Bleed
Holy shit that cover is beautiful ! Love the red theme and the fire and the feathers. I think it represents the problems of the story so well, with the war between the Darklings and Humans. I love love love the color palette as well as the city in the background. It's a very fall-esque cover don't you think? Fall colors... I also really like the title, Phoenix, the creature that rises from the Ashes... HA! Get it?
I cannot WAIT for
Phoenix,
Black City was a very great read.
I haven't read Black City yet, but the cover for this one is amazing!

LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePerfect.
What an amazing cover! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Black City yet, but it is on my TBR ASAP. I have heard such great things about it. I loved the cover of Black City, and I really like the cover of Phoenix, too. But I don't think I see how they fit together. Maybe after I read them I will get it?
ReplyDelete@Jaime Well they both have one focal point (On Black City is the rose, on Phoenix is the feather), they both have a city on the bottom, and they both look freaking awesome. On the other hand they also go with the story. You have to read Black City! It's pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis is the second time today I've seen this cover and it still takes my breathe away.
ReplyDeleteI love the feather on fire and the city in the background! I agree with you that the colors are very fall-ish with the oranges and reds. I just finished Black City and can't wait to read Phoenix!
