"My name is Gwen Frost, and I go to Mythos Academy — a school of myths, magic and warrior whiz kids, where even the lowliest geek knows how to chop off somebody’s head with a sword and Logan Quinn, the hottest Spartan guy in school, also happens to be the deadliest.
But lately, things have been weird, even for Mythos. First, mean girl Jasmine Ashton was murdered in the Library of Antiquities. Then, someone stole the Bowl of Tears, a magical artifact that can be used to bring about the second Chaos War. You know, death, destruction and lots of other bad, bad things. Freaky stuff like this goes on all the time at Mythos, but I’m determined to find out who killed Jasmine and why – especially since I should have been the one who died..."It sort of reminds me a bit of Vampire Academy mixed up with Harry Potter. Two of my favorite series so I'm so going to read the hell out of this book. The cover is fine, I specially like the girl's eyes.
PS; totally off topic, but my friend read The Hunger Games first book in a freaking day and is already asking me for Catching on Fire... Impressive.
This book sounds interesting. I like Greek mythology. I wonder if this will be like an older version of Percy Jackson.
ReplyDeleteYay for WoW sisters! :D I picked this book too, it sounds really good! And the synopsis made my think of Harry Potter and VA too!<3
ReplyDeleteThis is on my TBR but it looks like they've changed the cover from the last time I saw it because I remember it quite differently. Still, can't wait to read it!

ReplyDeleteI've seen Touch of Frost a few times now and it sounds like it could be a fun novel! Doesn't exactly have an original idea but fun nonetheless... :)
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds good! I'm adding it to my list.
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm really excited for this one. LOVE mythology. A Hogwarts-esque myth school? I am SO there!
ReplyDeleteSounds a bit like Percy Jackson, or Diana Peterfreund's Rampant.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the fence about this one, may read it, though I'll wait to see what else comes out around the same time, I think
Its on my must haves list. Cover is really beautiful.
