The Girl Who Was on Fire: Your Favorite Authors on Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games Trilogy

"The Girl Who Was on Fire answers lingering questions, provides new points of view, and will remind every Hunger Games fan why they love the series in the first place."

Do I have to say anything else? It's for all Hunger Games fans out there!

"Praised by writers from Stephen King to Stephenie Meyer, Suzanne Collins’ New York Times bestselling Hunger Games trilogy is dark, captivating, and deeply thought-provoking. Part straight-up survivalist adventure, part rich allegory, and part political thriller, the series has become a new YA favorite.

The Girl Who Was On Fire offers even more to think about for teen readers already engrossed by the Hunger Games. From the trilogy's darker themes of violence and social control to reality television, fashion, and weaponry, the collection's exploration of the Hunger Games by other YA writers reveals exactly how rich, and how perilous, protagonist Katniss’ world really is."

I love books like this; when authors come together and talk about one of my favorite series. I want to know what they think about it, and they always manage to point out things you might have never thought before, and if you have thought about it it will either confirm your idea or give you another perspective. It's pretty awesome!!

I also love how they did the cover, it continues the original cover tradition while standing on its own.

These are some of the YA books out this month alone, pretty crazy!! My credit card has basically fled the building before I torture it.

I also want to try something new this year. Every month I will have a poll with choices for the best cover of the month, all you have to do is vote. That way by the end of the year we will have yet another poll, but this time with 12 covers and see which one is the winner. Again all you have to do is vote, so vote! This month's covers are...

27 days to vote... Also soon I will change the layout, I'm just figure out what to do about it... Wish I had any knowledge of HTML and making layouts :S

Oh and school starts tomorrow, second and last semester as a freshwoman. Will tell you at the end of the week which classes I'm taking, for now I have an idea but not a definite. Have fun voting!
