Lena's physical description
Lena had always described herself as in between. She said she was not ugly, but she was not pretty either. She is 5'2" in height and have a brown hair. She described her eyes as not green or brown, but a muddle.
The minute I heard that Lena had been cast and I heard that Emma Roberts was doing the part... I don't know, it felt right. I didn't feel the revulsion I did when I heard who was playing Rose, or even Lissa. I can picture her as playing Lena. Now let's hope and pray to the gods that she does Lena justice!

ReplyDeleteYES YES! THANK GOD a casting that I am actually HAPPY and excited about! I LOVE Emma Roberts and I really see her as Lena. I was so sad with the casting of Tris from Divergent (I hate her acting in secret life of the american teenager) so I am quite happy with this one! Can't wait for Alex's casting :D

This is a LITTLE better than the VA casting. At least Emma looks more the part than the girl they chose for Rose.
ReplyDeleteI think the appeal is that Lena is described as an average girl, so we have an average girl to play the part.
However, Rose, Lissa and Dimitri are depicted as ethereal characters, and who in the world has them?
Just a thought.
I agree, it's easier to see someone filling Lena's shoes.
