Neferet’s true nature has been revealed to the Vampyre High Council, so Zoey and the gang might finally get some help in defending themselves and their beloved school against a gathering evil that grows stronger every day. And they’ll need it, because Neferet’s not going down without a fight. Chaos reigns at the House of Night.I haven't read the previous instalment to this book because frankly I have better things to do, but I still read the summary for this one taking the chance that it might spoil some of the never moving along story line for me. Alas, it really didn't, it only managed to irritate me more. The idiots FINALLY can see Neferet for the evil bitch she is. Because apparently the whole HIGH vampire council, you know the vampire government who is supposed to know better, is blind.
As to the cover, I kind of hate it. I have always liked The House of Night covers, but this one? It's quite possibly the trees, and the background, and the, well, everything. The other covers have always been dark and sort of hidden by shadows, and this one just doesn't seem as good as the rest.
Oh and the new book comes with an inside poster, take a look:
What do you think? Should I read the previous installment? Should I give HON yet another chance?
ReplyDeleteNo.
I don't think the cover is so bad, though.
I came figure out who the poster is of. It's on the depot? who is it?
ReplyDeleteNo idea >.< wish I could help you out.
