But I will still give it a try! Love the honest feedback! It is still hard for me to blog about books I didn't love... I want to find Anything good to say about it! Which kind of defeats the purpose.

Happy reading!

thepassionatebookworm.blogspot.comPassionate Bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06093957122337033371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2897777812787333518.post-29762598047273378402011-10-13T23:32:02.632-07:002011-10-13T23:32:02.632-07:00Kudos (I can't believe I wrote Kudos) for fini...Kudos (I can't believe I wrote Kudos) for finishing the book. There's been a few books that I've given up on in the first fourth. I don't know if I could have kept going after half didn't catch my interest - it definitely would have been difficult for me to do so. When I've tried to re-read books that I loved as a young adult (adult books that I read when I was 16) I'm surprised at how slow and boring they are to me now. I think after living through an increasingly flashy and fast media changes, we're used to quick developing plots and action that starts almost as soon as the book begins.Mardelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00063358136590143066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2897777812787333518.post-51996557977874346072011-10-13T17:46:05.977-07:002011-10-13T17:46:05.977-07:00I reviewed this a few days ago (here!) and felt pr...I reviewed this a few days ago (here!) and felt pretty much the same way. Good story and definitely ended well, but the "familiarity" was just too much to overlook for me. Will stick with it for the next book, though!
